Ecobuild in London will take place from March 4-6, 2014 at the ExCel Center. It is an international and leading event for sustainable design, construction, and the built environment. More than 500 exhibitors will be present this year and more than 43,000 people from 121 countries attended Ecobuild 2013. Ecobuild will also launch the 2014 Climate Week that will host over 3000 events designed to raise awareness of the dangers of climate change and suggest solutions to combat the problem.
The conference program covers a wide range of topics ranging from renewable energy policy, delivering zero carbon homes, and designing for deconstruction. Seminars have been grouped into six themes that aim to share practical and applied information: Design; Building Performance and BIM; Refurbishment & Retrofit; Green Energy; Water, Waste & Materials; and Future Cities. Speakers include Gerard Evenden of Foster + Partners, British environmentalist Tony Juniper, and many more. Registration is free.
