The Ninth International Conference on Energy Research and Development brings researchers, engineers, and policymakers together to optimize basic energy resources across major consuming sectors in arid regions. Held at Kuwait University, the program spans peer-reviewed technical papers, expert keynotes, cross-sector panel discussions, and regional commercial innovation displays. Keynote presentations address practical retrofits and retro-commissioning for existing facilities, hydrogen ecosystem deployment, and European energy policy governance. Technical sessions cover building air conditioning, refrigeration systems, energy storage, combined heat and power, renewable systems, and thermodynamics, delivering valuable research and operational strategies for extreme climate environments.

Attendance notes

Early registration fee is KD 140 (US $450) through October 16, 2026, and includes a reception, lunches, dinners, coffee breaks, banquet, tours, and conference proceedings. Late registration is KD 180 (US $600) beginning October 17, 2026. Student registration is KD 30 (US $100). Hotel accommodation for three nights will be provided for authors presenting accepted papers from outside Kuwait.
