The Living Future unConference 2014 will take place on May 21 – 23 in Portland, Oregon. The theme is to explore how beauty and inspiration can transform our movement and ourselves. This year’s keynotes will be given by Maya Lin, Jason McLennan, and Jay Harman. Organized by the International Living Future Institute, the event will kick off with an unConference Eve Party on May 20 and a reception and after party every night until 2:00 AM! In between those events, there will be a a trade show, educational tours, workshops, and activities. Educational session topics range from Inspiring Lessons from Living Building Pioneers, to Leading with Equity to Achieve Sustainability, and the Latest Certified Net Zero Energy Buildings. Luminary speakers include Susan Szenasy of Metropolis Magazine, Pliny Fisk of the Center for Maximum Potential Building Systems, and Kevin Hydes of Integral Group.
