The 11th Annual Passive House Northwest Conference will take place on March 12th – 14th, 2020 in Seattle, Washington, U.S. Passive House Northwest is ready for this challenge and in a great position due to the credibility our work has earned over the last ten years bringing groups together, facilitating trainings, supporting structures that nourish our industry and providing assistance to partners working to make the future the viable, carbon free environment it needs to be. We ask you to join us as partners to help transform our economy and built environment to a zero carbon world powered by renewable energy. Together We Have Time.
Our opening keynote will kick off our day, followed by four tracks of information with over 20 hours of presentations. Education sessions will cover: Building Science, Policy Matters, Case Studies, Cost Effectiveness, Meeting the New Energy Code, Embodied Energy, Energy Modeling, Integrated Design, Ventilation, indoor Air Quality, Health, and Comfort & Inspirational Approaches.
In the spirit of collaboration we will have several “Flash Talks” throughout the day. These are quick motivational presentations from upcoming industry leaders!
The 2020 Core Conference finishes with a rousing roundtable discussion on Friday. Saturday offers all-day, guided bus tour of Passive House projects around Seattle.
