2014 International Passive House Conference and framework program will feature an exciting schedule of various events on April 23 – 27 in Aachen, Germany. Attendees will include architects, designers, engineers, energy consultants, energy suppliers, craftspeople, scientists and researchers, retailers, manufacturers, local authorities, property developers, and students. New projects and the latest solutions in the area of energy efficient construction will be showcased by speakers in more than a hundred lectures. An accompanying trade fair will offer building owners and property developers an overview of the breadth of possibilities available. The Conference will cover a wide range of topics including challenges in the most varied of climatic zones, building components for energy retrofits, and experiences with pilot projects on buildings with special uses. The framework program will include seven tour options showcasing Passive House buildings, three full-day workshops (Passive House Basics, Passive House Components, and Passive House Windows), and dinner hosted in the Coronation Hall of the Town Hall.
