World Sustainable Building 2014 Conference

The World Sustainable Building 2014 Conference (World SB14 Barcelona) will take place on October 28 – 30 in Barcelona, Spain. This year’s theme is “Sustainable Building Results…Are We Moving as Quickly as We Should? It’s Up to Us!” The conference’s main goal is to encourage the uptake of adequate answers to the social and environmental challenges which the building sector faces. It also aims to create a global action plan which answers those main challenges by achieving consensus between stakeholders, organizations, and world renowned experts. The roadmap will be composed of three sections: a global diagnosis, a procedure, and a coordination and monitoring committee. Educational sessions will focus on sustainability indicators, innovation in technology, products, and processes, and governance models and tools and over 2000 attendees are expected.
