This AIAU live virtual course examines how integrated digital workflows enable architects and designers to evaluate and minimize the carbon impact of building projects. Participants will explore practical techniques for embedding sustainability data, performance metrics, and carbon benchmarking directly into early and continuous design decisions. The session details how quantitative carbon factors can inform design alternatives, fulfill regulatory and voluntary reporting obligations, and align day to day architectural workflows with industry targets like the AIA 2030 Commitment through connected analysis tools.
