The Intermediate Lighting Class Series will take place from April 17th – June 19, 2019 every Wednesday evening. It is back by popular demand since the first class from February to April was full shortly after registration opened, and IES San Francisco decided to offer the same class from April to June.
This NEW 10-session course covers a range of intermediate level lighting topics for optimizing energy efficiency while maintaining quality in lighting. Developed by the IES as a series of intermediate seminars, each on a different topic, it is now offered as a complete course.
This course is intended as a follow-up to the IES Fundamentals of Lighting course (offered each fall by the IES), or to a similar class where lighting topics and terms have been covered. It assumes basic familiarity with lighting terminology and units of measurement, allowing instructors to dig deeper into topics introduced in fundamentals classes, and augment the content with their experience and expertise.
This class earns 20 AIA LUs or 20 CEUs from IES at the completion of the entire course.
Pre-requisite information and pre-registration required through the IES SF website.
