Paris: Material Health in France will take place on December 13th, 2018 in Paris, France. Started in the United States about fifteen years ago, the movement “Material Health” seeks to reduce the exposure to risks and the health impacts of materials in built-up areas. It aims to sensitize real estate stakeholders to the impacts of toxic ingredients used in the manufacture of materials, products and equipment. This led to the development and evolution of tools and platforms: HPD (Health Product Declaration), C2C Material Health (Cradle to Cradle), Mindful Materials, Basta … all available on the market to create healthier environments for all.
These tools are now valued in standards such as Living Building Challenge, Building Standard WELL, LEED, BREEAM, HQE and OsmoZ. The speaker is Chloé Bosquillon, Certified Evaluator of the Cradle to Cradle Certified Product Program, Consultant in Circular Economy at EPEA France.
