Growing Green: How Sustainable Design and Mixed Use Development Can Work Together to Benefit Communities will take place on December 14th, 2018 in Eugene, Oregon, U.S. “Location, location, location” is the old adage of real estate development, but does it apply to sustainable design as well? Clay Neal of PIVOT Architecture, a recent graduate of the UO School of Architecture and Environment, will explore this question by addressing how infill development can help to achieve profitable rents, vibrant neighborhoods, and sustainable cities. This talk will address not only the importance of location, but also the promise that adaptable buildings offer infill residential and mixed-use developments. If you want communities to grow green then this is the talk for you.
