The North American Passive House Network Conference & Expo will take place on September 22 – 23 in Portland, Maine, United States. This year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Wolfgang Feist, Founder & Director of the Passive House Institute. The conference program will contain 30 educational sessions, focusing on a broad array of topics – from projects in different climactic conditions, of different building types, technical aspects, policy, energy and finance. The speakers will offer in-depth analysis of the obstacles and opportunities that the transformation to Passive House building provides.
There will be over 30 manufacturers or service providers represented in the Expo, providing a comprehensive look at specialized products and knowledge essential for low-energy Passive House building. NAPHN14 will be offering a range of workshops on the Saturday and Sunday prior to the Conference – from novice introductory courses to the most advanced and specialized Passive House Consultant courses. A call for submission is open until May 31st.
