The NAPHN18 Conference & Expo will take place on October 17th – 21st, 2018 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U.S. Passive House is a rigorous standard for energy efficiency resulting in low energy use for space heating or cooling. Building professionals have used the standard to construct residential properties, office buildings, hotels, prisons, schools, hospitals, supermarkets, and mixed-used buildings.
The United Nations recently identified the Passive House design concept as probably the only way to mitigate global warming caused by the built environment. WPPSEF’s commitment toward that goal is enabling the conference to use the Convention Center for an outstanding event where crucial educational activities will occur.
The North American Passive House Network conference annually brings together Passive House design experts, and manufacturers of products that perform to the levels needed to achieve the significant degree of sustainability found in Passive House projects. Government officials, financial professionals and other interested parties will also attend, with all
attendees able to learn of the latest advances in Passive building design and construction.
