Indoor Air 2014 is the 13th International Conference on Indoor Air Quality and Climate, taking place on July 7 – 12 in Hong Kong and organized by the International Society for Indoor Air Quality and Climate. The very first conference took place in 1978 in Copenhagen, Denmark. This year’s conference program is jam-packed with plenary sessions, training courses / workshops, and panel discussions and will feature speakers from all over the world. Twelve top scientists from the U.S., Europe, and Asia will share their insights on indoor air sciences, urban climate, urban planning, IAQ in developing countries and rural areas, and many more topics. Headlining speakers include Professors Edward Arens and William Nazaroff from U.C. Berkeley speaking on thermal climate and comfort and particulate matters and bioaerosols respectively; Dr. Carl-Gustaf Bornehag from Sweden speaking on associations between indoor environmental factors and health, mainly asthma and allergies among children and sick building syndrome symptoms among adults; Professor Jenny Su from Taiwan’s National Cheng Kung University speaking on climate change and indoor air sciences; and many more distinguished experts.
