The Environments for Aging Conference will take place on May 3 – 6 in Anaheim, California. It offers the latest strategies and ideas for creating functional and attractive living environments that meet the needs of the aging population. Plenary speakers feature Richard Adler, Distinguished Fellow of the Institute for the Future and Nick Buettner of Blue Zones Expeditions. Session tracks are: Innovations in Technology and Design; Funding Considerations; New Models Across the Continuum of Care; Key Research and Case Studies; Contemporary Household Models; Supporting and Improving Memory Care; Innovations in Exterior Design; Successful Remodeling and Repositioning. Examples of specific topics include: a Holistic Approach to Facility Repositioning, Lighting and Daylighting for Seniors, Effective Environments for Aging-in-place at Home (Case Studies in China), and Dementia-Friendly Hospital Design (international Case Studies).
