Join Northwest utility staff and other key energy efficiency partners for learnings and collaboration at the Efficiency Exchange 2014 on May 6 – 8 in Kennewick, Washington. The first two days of the conference will offer a multitude of panel discussions and networking opportunities over breaks and meals (check out the menus listed in the conference program!) while the third day will offer five informative tours of utility sites such as the Nine canyon Wind Farm and McNary Dam. The keynote will be given by Greg LaBlanc, Professor at the University of California at Berkeley and specialist on behavioral finance. Session topics range from irrigated agriculture technology and success stories from the PNW Smart Grid Demonstration Project to small industrial strategic energy management and a pilot Community Ductless Heat Pump Program. A non-traditional session titled Speed Dating for Emerging Tech will allow attendees to learn about an array of energy efficiency emerging technologies such as combo-unit ductless heat pumps.
