2017 Built Positive Launch: Dallas will take place on June 6th in Dallas, Texas, U.S. The half-day workshop will guide you in coupling your growing expertise in selecting safe ingredients with thoughtful design strategies, so that the materials and products you are specifying or designing into buildings can be disassembled and recovered later for reuse, thereby fully realizing the potential of Cradle to Cradle® design and circular systems.
The agenda will be organized around the key concepts of Built Positive, a movement to increase the built environment’s positive impact on people, planet, and economy by designing materials and products for circularity, innovating to improve these inputs, and quantifying their positive impact from the molecule through to the metropolis. The session will explore circular design; material health; design for reuse, disassembly, and recovery; value chain collaboration; and qualifying and quantifying the value of materials over their use and reuse cycles.
Workshop participants will receive 3 AIA, IDCEC, and GBCI continuing education credits. A networking lunch will follow each session (12:30-1:30 PM).
Event is FREE. Seats are limited. Register now!
