2016 Annual International Society of Exposure Science Meeting

The 2016 Annual International Society of Exposure Science Meeting will take place on October 9th-13th in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Exposure and environmental health sciences have never been more important. Communities and ecosystems across the globe face a broad range of complex interacting local and global threats. This meeting will help to define the science that will provide an intelligent path forward.

Exposure science is a dynamic field. It fosters interdisciplinary interaction to promote solutions to complex public health problems through integration of analytical chemistry, epidemiology, toxicology, industrial hygiene, public health, risk assessment, ecological health, and occupational health. It develops state of the art methods for measuring and estimating exposures, and the use of these measures in epidemiology, risk assessment and environmental health policy. It addresses exposures to environmental chemicals as well as to radionuclides, pathogens, food additives, and pharmaceuticals through traditional and innovative methods including biomonitoring, mobile and personal monitoring and sensors, and classical media-based measurements.
