The 2015 International Concrete Sustainability Conference will take place on May 11th – 13th in Miami, Florida, United States. The Conference serves as a platform for North America and Latin America regions and provides learning and networking opportunities on the latest advances, technical knowledge, continuing research, tools and solutions for sustainable concrete manufacturing, design and construction. Experts will present on the latest developments related to design, specifying, manufacturing, testing, construction, maintenance, and research of concrete as it relates to sustainable development. Topics are designed around the following themes: Resilience; Life Cycle Assessment; Low Impact Development; Material Science; and Corporate Responsibility. Tours at the Florida International University College of Engineering and Computing will highlight the Titan America Structures and Construction Testing Laboratory and the International Hurricane Research Center Wall of Wind.
